OSKİM / Dynaress Wins the First Place Award at WINOVATION 2026

OSKİM / Dynaress was awarded the First Place Award at the WINOVATION 2026 Competition, held within the scope of WIN EURASIA, with its project titled “Reducing Distortion in Vehicle Suspension Control Arms through Simulation and AI-Assisted Welding Sequence Optimization.”

This achievement at WINOVATION 2026, which highlights domestic manufacturing, value-added technologies and innovative industrial applications, is regarded as an important outcome of OSKİM / Dynaress’s work in production technologies, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Industry on the Threshold of Transformation

Today, the industrial world is looking not only for ways to produce faster, but also for ways to produce more accurately, more efficiently, more sustainably and more predictably. In a period where global competition is intensifying, quality expectations are rising and the efficient use of resources has become a strategic priority, the transformation of production technologies has become inevitable.

At the center of this transformation is artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence is no longer merely a technology topic of the future; it has become a powerful tool with direct application on the production floor, transforming quality, efficiency and decision-making processes. For businesses today, the real value lies not only in collecting data, but in interpreting it, integrating it into decision-making processes and anticipating production problems before they occur.

One of the Most Challenging Problems in Welded Manufacturing: Distortion

Welded manufacturing, particularly in the automotive industry, stands out as one of the production methods of critical importance across many sectors. The welding process is a complex operation that requires the simultaneous management of many variables such as material behavior, heat input, fixturing, part geometry and operation sequence. For this reason, distortion, dimensional deviation, rework and scrap risk continue to create significant cost and quality challenges for companies engaged in welded manufacturing.

This issue becomes even more critical in automotive components such as vehicle suspension control arms, where safety, durability and dimensional precision are essential. The thermal effects generated during welding can directly influence the final geometry of the part. This affects not only production quality, but also new product launch timelines, customer approval processes, costs and production continuity.

An Approach Beyond Trial and Error

At this point, OSKİM / Dynaress introduces an AI-assisted production approach that goes beyond conventional trial-and-error methods. With the developed study, welding sequence optimization is transformed from a decision based on individual experience into a data-driven, repeatable and scalable engineering approach.

At the core of this approach is the digital evaluation of different welding sequence alternatives before production, and the AI-assisted identification of the options with the lowest distortion potential. In this way, the need for physical trials is reduced while a more efficient production infrastructure is created in terms of quality, time, energy and resource utilization.

The project stands out not only as a process improvement study, but also as a strong example of how artificial intelligence can be converted into tangible value in industry. In this case, artificial intelligence is positioned not as a theoretical model, but as a decision-support mechanism used to solve a real problem on the production floor.

Objectives and Long-Term Value

With this study, the aim is to predict distortion problems in welded manufacturing before production, make process decisions in a more controlled manner and manage new product launch processes faster and more reliably. At the same time, the accumulated know-how is stored digitally, transferred into corporate memory and turned into a sustainable infrastructure that can be reused for different parts.

Today, competitive advantage in production is shaped not only by machinery assets or capacity, but by companies that use data effectively, digitalize their processes and strengthen their decision mechanisms with intelligent systems.

OSKİM / Dynaress continues to develop practical solutions for real industrial problems by combining engineering experience from the production floor with artificial intelligence, simulation and data analytics.

Because the future of production will be made possible by systems that understand data, anticipate processes and assure quality before production begins.
